Worship Gathering

People ask why we call our worship a gathering instead of a service? To put it simply when we come to worship as a community we come to serve not to be served. First we serve God, and second we serve one another. We serve God by acknowledging who He is through worship. We serve one another by listening to what the Bible has to say, so that we can know better who we are to be and how we are to live with each other in this world. That means our gathering is active, not passive. Whether you are a seeker, returner or long time follower of Jesus, you will find ways to participate in what we do. Our desire is that, through this environment, you will be encouraged and equipped to love God, love others and serve the world – all in the context of a “come as you are” culture… no perfect people allowed. So when you come, grab some coffee, meet some new people, enjoy the music, learn, celebrate Jesus, find faith and friends.

We meet on Sundays (calendar) at 11:00am, on the McFarland campus of Southport Presbyterian Church.  If you want to know more about the upcoming series, please click here.
